I know it was just six days and not seven because we came home from Belfast late on Monday, but still. How do the days disappear so fast, rushing from the invisible future full of plans and hopes into the fading past full of unlived opportunities?
Anyways, this week I was kinda getting more and more under the weather, so that might just be a reason for the days floating away and me not really registering their passing.
Tuesday - pizza with a friend
After getting up pretty late and eating some leftovers for breakfast, we started watching the second season of Stranger Things with Veronika. Not sure whether I liked it or not, the beginning of the season. I also washed my clothes and in the afternoon gathered all the non-existent energy I had and cycled to meet Aleksandra, the Polish girl from archery who I became really good friends with. We did some shopping at Aldi, cycled some more, then heated and ate some frozen pizza at her friend's apartment (who wasn't even home, btw, just the two of us, even tho none of us lived there lol). We talked about archery club stuff and Erasmus stuff and boyfriend stuff and I realised I am indeed really going to miss her. Then I cycled home and watched some more episodes of Stranger Things with Veronika.

Wednesday - Finished Stranger Things s02
So I got up literally at noon, and out of bed around 1 pm, then had breakfast with Eszter and Veronika who just got back from shopping. My throat hurt and I was sneezing sometimes which was definitely more than what I would have liked. Suspicion: I am getting ill. For a lazy afternoon programme, we watched all the remaining episodes of Stranger Things with Veronika. I am so in love with Steve. And we have to wait so much till the next season comes out. :( To be at least a little productive, I cooked some food and had dinner, then posted what I was supposed to write 3 weeks prior to this week.... Before going to bed I also watched the Vow, a pretty sad but cute but still just sad movie.

Thursday - resting and falling more sick
This day I actually got up not that late. But then I didn't really do anything apart from writing another blog post (I am still really behind with posting and it will just get worse, probably). Well, I also tuned the guitar but then ended up not really playing it as there was always someone in the kitchen and I hate when they hear me failing at it. So I was just lazing around all day, reading random scenes from random novels on my ebook and some fanfics. I also had a sore throat and felt a bit weak.
Friday - finally doing something
Well, I was supposed to get up early and failed horribly. Not even a surprise. Also, my throat is just even more sore so I didn't really want to get up, like, at all. But then I went to Lidl after breakfast and bought way more stuff than I wanted to or needed to. When we got home Friday let me pet her! I still can't believe grumpy cat opened up a bit. Then I had mushrooms for lunch and early evening we cycled over to where Edward and Colum live, because they invited any of the Belfast trip group who wanted to join them for watching the Late Late Toy Show - a TV programme that is really popular in Ireland every December 1. As it turned out, only the two of us (Veronika and me, cause Eszter didn't feel good) turned up, so we cozied up around their open fireplace and
melted burned marshmallows and drank mate, which is basically Argentinian tea (the guys spent a few months in Argentina and they really got fond of it so they drink this mate with nostalgia and tell stories to whoever is willing to listen). So we started watching the Late Late Toy Show with the guys and their housemate who is also Hungarian, but we also wanted to go to Stables and so we had to leave at 10 so that we wouldn't have to pay for entrance. There, we had fun with Vini and said hi to so many people, now it seems like we know dozens of people anywhere we go and I think I am going to miss both the people and the feeling so much. And these nights out in Stables.

Saturday - exam
Yes, indeed, I said exam. On Saturday. On the very first day of the exam period here. With our luck, the only exam we had to do was Saturday afternoon.
So I got up fairly early after last night's party, but instead of studying I just read some fanfics. Ashamed doesn't in the slightest describe how my recklessness makes me feel. Anyways, we cycled to uni and had the exam at 2pm. It wasn't even that bad, except for maybe the essay part. On the way home we stopped at McDonald's as a way of celebrating. At home, we decorated the Christmas tree (yeah I know it's weird but Irish people put up X-mas decorations on the first day of December, not on the 24th. Then we planned to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince but the video we found online was way too quiet so we couldn't really hear it. We ended up watching random movie scenes like the last twenty or so minutes of Split and basically all of Finding Dory.
In the meantime, I started blowing my nose and I am coughing more and more and it hurts a lot around my lungs and I still have a sore throat.

Christmas tree fully decorated (at least by us... Josephine and Tom added many more things to it since) |
Sunday - miserable
I've just really gotten ill. I couldn't sleep at night because of constantly blowing my nose and I am also coughing once in a while but it feels as if my lungs wanted to escape through the pipes in my throat. When I finally gave up sleeping, I wrote some on my blog and I think I had a high temperature but I couldn't measure it so it's just guessing. But I definitely felt ill all day.
In the evening, we watched Harry Potter 6 in the living room with all three girls and this time we could finally hear it as well. Before going to sleep, I read some in bed (started another Ward book).
