- Bodywise, I feel like my legs are a bit more toned, my thighs are definitely a bit more muscular. And my stomach and tits might have gotten a bit smaller.
- Ireland: I got used to traffic and don't get automatically discouraged when I see that it is raining.
- I got accustomed to a much healthier lifestyle here - it is impossible not to get affected by Ireland in this aspect. I just feel much better in my body.
- My name is still a challenge to most people. They usually can't even remember, and those few who do, keep pronouncing it wrong even though it is only 5 simple letters. I don't get what the problem is.
- We party every Friday. I guess it is not an Irish but rather an Erasmus thing. But it was really weird for me in the beginning - now I just love it.
- Swimming is getting better gradually as I keep going down to the pool.
- The ONLY English word I learned here in a whole month: clingfilm.
- I am speaking just as much in Hungarian, as I do at home. Maybe even a bit more. This happens if you live with two Hungarians. Though I am not really sorry, I did not come here to speak English all the time. At least this way I don't forget Hungarian either.
- Being on an Erasmus semester is a costly thing. I spent 1755 EUR so far! This includes all costs; plane tickets, accommodation for the first two months, grocery shopping, membership fees, bus tickets, everything. But it is a lot...
A personal blog created to write about my Erasmus+ experiences at the University of Limerick and provide useful tips for all future Erasmus+ students.
